Responsibilities:

Under limited supervision, performs variety of accounting duties (General Ledger, Payroll accounting, cost accounting, reconciliations). Requires initiative and judgment making correct account adjustments and allocations. Duties include analyzing accounting documents for accuracy, investigating questionable data, and taking corrective action when necessary. Reconciliation of accounts on a monthly basis to assure accuracy of financial data. Prepares or assists in preparation of financial reports and analysis. Will assist in establishing procedures for finance department.

-Calculation of Sales Commissions.
-Work with Controller during month end close to assure all needed journal entries and reports are processed and that cutoff properly occurs.
-Prepare and analyze costing reports.
-Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts monthly.
-Prepare documents on an annual basis that will be sent to our CPA firm and Auditors for annual review.
-Assist when required, with A/P and A/R.
-Prepare Journal Entries for Bi-Weekly Payroll and Month End Accruals.
-Knowledge of ERP software.
-Other miscellaneous accounting duties as required.

Qualifications Required:

-Education: Bachelor’s Degree or AA Degree working on Bachelors.
-Experience: 3+ years minimum professional accounting /finance experience.
-Experience using Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook or equivalent software applications.
-Professional level interpersonal skills
-Professional level communication skills: written and verbal.

Qualifications Desired:

-Broad accounting experience. Manufacturing experience a plus.
-ERP software
