On COVID-19 aka Coronavirus

It’s been a mild winter but then WHAM! COVID-19 appears.

Try to not panic.

If you follow these precautions, you will be at lower risk of infection.

Please, please wash your hands with mild soap

for at least 20 seconds, and do it frequently.

Good song refrains to sing while washing your hands:

Prince: Raspberry Beret

Beyonce: Love on Top

Dolly Parton: Jolene

Eminem: Loose Yourself

Lizzo: Truth Hurts

Toto: Africa

Queen: Another One Bites the Dust

Try and not touch your face.

I know, I know. Sounds ridiculous. I don’t touch my face frequently.

But wait…yes I do!

It’s amazing how many times one touches one’s face. Be it to sneeze, to itch, a nervous tick, a flirtation, etc.

We do touch our faces more frequently than we think!

Sneeze in your elbow.

Here’s another big one.

Self Care!

Keeping immunity up is a big factor during this usual cold and flu season.

In the event you do catch COVID-19, if you’re immunity is up, there is a better chance of recovery.

How does one do this?

Getting enough rest.

Eating right.

Getting more bliss than stress.

Meditation, taking 10 seconds for yourself if you are in a stress-filled situation.

Taking immune building supplements, like mushrooms: Lions Mane, Reishi, Cordryceps, and Chaga.

I like tinctures and powders.

Staying up on your vitamin C, zinc, and vitamin D/D3.

Staying hydrated.  Some say taking small sips of warm-hot water helps kill viruses.

Getting immune boosting herbs from your acupuncturist.  (hint hint)

Tele-communicating with your local doctor/NP/or acupuncturist is you feel that slight “itch” or running nose to get your herbs dropped shipped instead of going out into public and possibly contaminating others.

Main thing is to not panic or worry.

Be aware of your situation and take care of yourself and loved ones.

Self quarantine you and your loved ones if you are sick.

Don’t shake hands or hug for right now.

It’s really up to us, the public to take great care not to spread the

flu or this mutation of the flu.

Taking care of oneself at the early onset of anything is key to

living a vital life at any point of time in one’s life.
