Oregon Tech is seeking applications for a Residence Life Coordinator (RLC) in the Housing Department. This is a 12-month, full-time position located on the Oregon Tech campus in Klamath Falls, Oregon. The successful applicant will work closely with the Assistant Director of Residence Life, student staff, and residential students daily. The work includes developing community within all housing facilities to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for residential students as well as the campus community, families and guests who interact with Housing and Residence Life. The RLC also supports and participates in Housing and Residence Life sponsored and supported programming in support of student learning initiatives. This position supervises the First Year Experience (FYE) student staff as well as the Student Success Mentor (SSM) staff team, reporting to the Assistant Director of Residence Life. The RLC is a live in position, with a fully furnished apartment and Meal Plan 3 included in the compensation.
•An earned Bachelor’s degree, and with student experience working with a housing and residence life department.
•A high level of knowledge working in the Microsoft suite of programs.
•Quality time management skills and to work with integrity.
•Master’s degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Counseling or a related field.
•Knowledge of database management.
•Previous experience supervising, especially if supervision involved working with a college student population.
