We are recruiting for an Accounting Manager to join our accounting and finance team at our Hillsboro, Oregon headquarter office. The Accounting Manager will play an important role bridging our accounting and sales operations functions. They are a strong team leader and communicator, responsible for leading the teams in charge of executing of our front-end sales quoting & invoicing process through to our cash collections as well as the monthly financial reporting cycle. This individual will oversee and monitor the contracting & invoicing team and processes, interact with the Sales team, manage Accounts Receivable and Senior Accounting staff in addition to the monthly financial close process and general ledger.
We are open to a hybrid work set up for this role, with a tie into our Hillsboro facility. Your employees will be dispersed across the country.

Some nuts and bolts about the job:
-Direct management of contracting & invoicing, Accounts Receivable/Collections, Senior Accountants and Accounting Clerk
-Monitor the contracting & AR teams which includes full customer cycle: quoting, invoicing, job billing analysis, job cost reclassifications, cash receipts and collections
-Develop, train, and manage customer focused Contracting & AR teams who partner with account teams
-Contribute information about financial business trends real-time to Controller and CFO to make sound business decisions and process improvements
-Develop/maintain positive, collaborative working relationships with operational and sales personnel
-Develop an intricate knowledge of how the ERP system functions / assist others with questions regarding how to make necessary adjusting entries in the ERP system
-Analyze data and workflows to identify areas that can benefit from process improvement
-Help recommend, implement, and oversee process changes that improve efficiency
-Monitor, implement and maintain internal effective controls
-Review and post transactions and journal entries
-Supervision and approval of quoting/invoicing (contract admin) process
-Oversee sales tax compliance and preparation process, including maintaining third party tax relationships
-Work extended hours as needed during or in preparation for peak business, reporting and/or budgeting seasons
-Assist with special projects

-Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related discipline (CPA a plus)
-5 years of experience in public or corporate accounting at a staff level or above preferred
-4 years of supervisory experience of multi-faceted teams with wide range of experience—as an Accounting Manager, -Controller or Assistant Controller
-Sincere curiosity for operational process and finding the why
-Ability to partner with leaders and users outside of the accounting and finance department
-Extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel
-Highly adaptable to ERP systems, document workflows and export databases
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-Excellent prioritization and organizational skills; attention to detail and accuracy
-Must work well under pressure in a deadline driven culture
-Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, procedures in the exhibit fabrication/trade show or marketing agency industries a plus
